I've been reading this comic book series, and I think it's great. The art is lovely and the story is compelling. If you're looking for a new comic to read, this is definitely one to try!

This is a great book but it does have more than a few references from the previous Guardians books. If you’re a new reader and want to get into Guardians of the Galaxy, then you should really start from their first volume (it’s not that complicated).

The first one includes several character introductions that are necessary for understanding what's going on in this book and the second collects Annihilation: Conquest issues #1-6, which is an event series where Thanos takes over The Kree Empire and kills half of all living things in the universe. This is an excellent prequel to this comic book series because it shows how each member joined up with Star-Lord & Rocket Raccoon so it makes their relationship feel more real than just having them meet randomly on Earth like they did in Avengers Endgame!

The story follows Groot, who has been transformed into a teenager by Ego the Living Planet. While he initially seems like a juvenile delinquent, Groot's true purpose is to find his father and form a team of protectors with whom he can save the universe.
